A sharp-tongued young local politician takes in her troubled niece and nephew after their parents are caught up in a financial scandal, only to hire a former commodities trader — whose own career was destroyed by the same scandal — as a live-in nanny. The arrangement creates constant friction as the two strong-willed adults clash over parenting styles and personal boundaries, whilst gradually developing feelings for one another. The sitcom follows their evolving relationship and the challenges of raising a family in unconventional circumstances.
