Adams's Apples
A Danish black comedy in which a fundamentalist Christian priest welcomes a neo-Nazi into his small rural community as part of a rehabilitation programme. The two men clash bitterly, with the priest's relentlessly upbeat faith repeatedly tested by the newcomer's cynicism and cruelty. As the story unfolds, dark secrets about the priest's past and his grip on reality are gradually revealed, blurring the line between sincerity and self-delusion.
