A young woman from a strictly vegetarian family enrols at a veterinary college, where a hazing ritual forces her to eat meat for the first time and triggers a disturbing and escalating craving for flesh. As she struggles to control her increasingly dangerous appetites, her relationships with her sister and a fellow student are pushed to their limits. The film blends coming-of-age themes with visceral body horror to explore identity, desire, and the darker aspects of human nature.
