A retired literature professor named Harry Wild becomes embroiled in crime investigation after she is mugged and taken in to recover at her detective son's home. Restless and intellectually sharp, she begins inserting herself into his cases, aided by a street-smart young man she takes under her wing. The series follows their unconventional partnership as they solve murders in Dublin, with Harry drawing on her love of classic literature to unpick criminal puzzles.
