Knightfall Season 2
A young King Philip IV of France turns against the Knights Templar, pursuing their destruction with increasing ruthlessness whilst a disgraced Templar knight undergoes brutal training under a hardened master. The series follows the political and spiritual conflict between the French crown and the order as betrayal, torture and executions bring the Templars closer to annihilation. Personal faith and loyalty are tested as those within the order struggle to preserve their brotherhood against overwhelming royal and papal opposition.
