El Autór (The Motive)
A frustrated amateur writer, unable to produce original material, decides to move into a new neighbourhood and deliberately manipulate his neighbours into living out dramatic situations he can then exploit as fiction. As his schemes grow increasingly calculated and intrusive, the boundaries between observation and interference collapse entirely. The film offers a darkly comic examination of artistic ambition and the moral compromises a person will make in pursuit of creative success.
