Extra Innings
Directed by Albert Dabah
A man reflects on his Jewish family's painful history, shaped by the suicides of two of his siblings and the lasting emotional scars left on those who survived. Drawing on the director's own autobiographical experiences, the story follows his journey through grief, guilt, and the search for belonging, using baseball as a unifying metaphor for perseverance and second chances. The film explores how mental illness can ripple through a family across generations, and how one person can choose to transform trauma into connection and purpose.
