A spin-off from the long-running American soap opera General Hospital, this daytime drama is set in the fictional upstate New York town of Port Charles and follows a community of doctors, nurses, and residents navigating romantic entanglements, family conflicts, and personal crises. Over its run, the show shifted towards supernatural storylines involving vampires and other paranormal elements, distinguishing it from its parent series. It aired on ABC and developed a loyal following before being cancelled in 2003.
