Three brothers — William, Walter, and Arthur Davidson — join forces with their friend Arthur Harley to build a motorised bicycle in a small shed in Milwaukee at the turn of the twentieth century. The series follows their struggles against financial hardship, rival manufacturers, and personal conflict as they grow their fledgling enterprise into one of the most iconic motorcycle companies in the world. Spanning several decades, it charts both the triumphs and the costs of their ambition across two world wars and a rapidly changing America.
