A British detective becomes dangerously entangled in an undercover operation targeting a Croatian crime syndicate after her son, who has been secretly working as an informant, goes missing. As she attempts to locate him and protect him from the criminals he has infiltrated, she must navigate the murky boundaries between loyalty, duty and deception. The investigation forces her to question those around her, including colleagues she has long trusted.
