A Ukrainian naval vessel becomes stranded and besieged by Russian forces during the early stages of the 2014 conflict in Crimea, leaving its crew isolated and cut off from support. The sailors must decide how far they are willing to go to defend their ship and their oath in the face of overwhelming pressure to surrender. The film depicts their struggle as a symbol of resistance at a moment of national crisis.
