A socially awkward teenage boy goes on a camping holiday with his aunt and her boyfriend, where he strikes up an unexpected friendship with a larger, openly gay man. Through their bond, he begins to explore questions about his own sexuality and sense of identity. The series follows his tentative coming-of-age journey with warmth and gentle humour.
