The Escapist

A veteran prisoner with years of experience navigating life behind bars decides to organise a daring escape attempt when he learns that his daughter is gravely ill and he needs to reach her before it is too late. He assembles a small crew of fellow inmates, each with their own reasons for wanting out, and meticulously plans their route through the labyrinthine tunnels beneath the prison. The film unfolds across two interwoven timelines, gradually revealing the fates of those involved and the true cost of their bid for freedom.
