A Cuban pilot defects to Florida in the early 1990s, joining a growing community of exiles involved in anti-Castro activities. The story expands to follow several interconnected figures who are eventually revealed to be Cuban intelligence agents embedded within the exile network. Based on true events, the film examines themes of loyalty, ideology, and deception as the operatives navigate dangerous double lives across Cuba, Miami, and Central America.
