Thin Ice
There have been several productions titled *Thin Ice*, so without a director or year it is difficult to identify which one is intended. Based on the most widely known film of this title — a 2011 British comedy thriller — a retired antiques dealer becomes entangled in a dangerous scheme after a seemingly harmless visit to an elderly eccentric in rural Wisconsin. When a rare violin and a ruthless criminal enter the picture, his attempts to profit from the situation spiral badly out of control. The tension between greed, deception and consequence drives the story to a darkly comic conclusion.
