A young boy is involved in a serious accident that leaves him in a coma, and his mother, struggling to cope with the trauma, begins to explore his passions and dreams in an effort to reach him. Through this journey she discovers a vibrant world her son had kept hidden from her, connecting with the people and things he loved. The experience forces her to confront her own failures as a parent whilst clinging to hope that he will recover.
