The Penguin Lessons
A British schoolteacher working at a boarding school in Argentina during the country's turbulent military dictatorship rescues a Magellanic penguin from an oil-covered beach. He smuggles the bird back to his school, where it becomes an unlikely companion and source of joy for both staff and students. The penguin's presence gradually transforms the lives of those around it, offering warmth and connection amid a backdrop of political fear and uncertainty.
