A dramatisation of Patrick Radden Keefe's non-fiction book, tracing the lives of IRA members across several decades, beginning with the 1972 abduction of Jean McConville, a widowed mother of ten taken from her Belfast home. The series follows figures including Dolours Price and Gerry Adams as it examines the violence, idealism, and moral compromises of those involved in the Troubles. Through shifting time frames, it explores how the conflict shaped and ultimately haunted its participants long after the ceasefires.
