Berlin Syndrome

An Australian woman travelling alone in Berlin begins a passionate romance with a local man, only to discover he has locked her inside his apartment and has no intention of letting her leave. As days stretch into weeks, she struggles to maintain her sanity and find a means of escape whilst her captor goes about his ordinary life as a schoolteacher. The film explores the psychological tension between captor and captive as she searches for any opportunity to reclaim her freedom.
