A young woman living in a rural Turkish community finds her life constrained by tradition and family expectation, and begins to long for something beyond the limits placed upon her. Her quiet yearning for freedom brings her into conflict with the social and moral codes of those around her, as she struggles to reconcile her desires with the world she inhabits.
