A German police thriller in which a dedicated investigator finds himself caught between a dangerous criminal network and the murky world of state intelligence. As the case deepens, it becomes unclear who the real enemies are, with loyalties and institutional corruption blurring the line between law enforcement and organised crime. The protagonist must navigate a web of deception in which those in power may pose as great a threat as the criminals he pursues.
