A journalist and a federal agent independently investigate a shadowy international network that trafficks vulnerable children under the guise of adoption services. Their paths converge as they attempt to dismantle the criminal operation and rescue the children caught within it. The story examines the exploitation of desperate families on both sides of the transaction, exposing the human cost of the illegal trade.
