The Diplomat
Directed by Alex Graves
A seasoned American diplomat is unexpectedly appointed as the new US Ambassador to the United Kingdom, arriving in London alongside her more politically ambitious husband just as a major international crisis threatens to escalate into open conflict. As she navigates the pressures of high-stakes geopolitical negotiations, she also contends with the complexities of her strained marriage and speculation that her new posting is merely a stepping stone to a far more prominent role. The series follows her attempts to manage crises both professional and personal whilst surrounded by a cast of advisers, rivals, and foreign counterparts with competing agendas.
