Nanny
A Black woman working as a nanny for a wealthy white family in New York begins experiencing disturbing visions and supernatural occurrences that she believes are connected to her young son back in Senegal, whom she is desperately trying to bring to America. As her anxiety and the haunting imagery intensify, the film weaves together themes of immigration, motherhood, and West African folklore. The horror elements serve as a metaphor for the emotional toll of separation and the exploitation faced by domestic workers far from home.
