No Man's Land
(2020)
A French soldier accidentally kills a teenage boy while on patrol along the Syrian-Turkish border, then discovers the victim's sister has survived and is living among Kurdish fighters. Consumed by guilt, he disguises himself and joins the same unit in order to watch over her without revealing his identity. As he fights alongside the Kurds against ISIS, he struggles with his secret and his growing sense of belonging to a cause far removed from his own country.
