A mother and her twin sons survive in a remote wilderness, living in constant terror of an evil presence that she insists lurks beyond their camp. As the boys grow older, one of them begins to question whether the threat his mother describes is real, creating a rift between the siblings and forcing a confrontation with the truth about their isolated existence.
