A young gang member in Washington D.C. tries to protect his younger brother from being drawn into the violent street life that has defined his own existence. When a newly returned Afghan war veteran becomes entangled in their situation, the two form an unlikely alliance against the ruthless cartel controlling the neighbourhood.
