Professor Bernhardi
(2021)
A Jewish doctor at a Viennese hospital refuses to allow a Catholic priest to administer last rites to a dying patient, believing the woman's final moments should remain undisturbed. The incident ignites a fierce political and religious scandal that threatens to destroy his career and reputation. Based on Arthur Schnitzler's classic play, the production examines how personal conscience collides with institutional power, antisemitism, and opportunistic politics.
