On New Year's Eve 1999, the guests and staff of a grand Swiss hotel navigate a night of absurdity, vanity, and dysfunction as the millennium approaches. The film follows an ensemble of grotesque, self-absorbed characters — including fabulously wealthy patrons, their pampered pets, and the exhausted employees forced to cater to their every whim. As midnight draws near, the evening spirals into farce, exposing the moral bankruptcy lurking beneath the hotel's opulent surface.
