Moloch

A woman living in a remote Dutch peat bog community becomes convinced that an ancient malevolent force has long demanded sacrificial victims from her family, a belief that intensifies after a mysterious stranger is pulled from the earth following a local accident. As violent and disturbing events accumulate around her, she digs into her family's buried history and confronts a cycle of ritualistic violence stretching back generations. The film blends folk horror with personal trauma as she struggles to determine whether the evil she fears is supernatural or deeply human.
