A Ukrainian woman living in the Czech Republic claims she has been attacked and racially abused by a local man, setting off a chain of events that pulls her son, the accused, and various authorities into an escalating confrontation with truth and prejudice. As the investigation unfolds, the boundaries between victim and perpetrator grow increasingly unstable, and each character's motivations come under scrutiny. The film examines how systemic racism, personal desperation, and the hunger for justice can distort and manipulate one another within a society resistant to confronting its own prejudices.
