To Rome with love

Four loosely connected stories unfold across Rome, each following different characters navigating romance, ambition, and the absurdities of fame. A retired opera director discovers his daughter's father-in-law possesses a remarkable singing voice, whilst an ordinary man suddenly finds himself treated as a celebrity for no discernible reason. Elsewhere, a young architect revisits his past through a chance encounter, and a newly arrived couple find their romantic ideals tested by temptation. The vignettes blend Allen's trademark neurotic humour with affectionate observations about Italian culture and the universal pursuit of love and recognition.
