Casting the LEAD ROLE for feature film, NEXT TIME, directed by Emily Manthei.

A housecleaning maid in Berlin steals the bike of a big-time petty criminal and is drawn into his gang of bike thieves. She tries to escape by leaving the city, only to end up returning via a time portal to the moment before she stole the bike. Now, she’s out for revenge, destruction of the bike gang, and freedom from all of life’s injustices – and she’ll use the time portal as many times as she needs to get it.

An indie action-comedy-thriller cross between “Palm Springs” and “Being John Malkovich.”

Spoken languages will be English, German, and Turkish; the script/notes/original version is in English. Actors who like to improvise and find the best version of the line in their language will enjoy this project much more than those who like to stick to every word as it is on written the page.

Project is an ultra-low-budget independent first feature written and directed by an award-winning female director and was selected for the Filmmaker Resource Lab by the Female Filmmaker Festival Berlin.
