Thirty seconds before the director calls Action! simply close your eyes. Then, when you're ready to go, open them.

There are 2 excellent reasons for doing this:

1. it will help you concentrate your mind on the scene and block out the unwanted surroundings
2. your pupils will look bigger and better and make you more attractive
