Casting Overview

The Buffer Zone, an independent psychological drama feature, is casting young actors based in Cyprus for two important roles.

We are looking for naturalistic, un-stylised faces that suit a 1974 rural Cypriot village. Real and unpolished, the opposite of a glamour shot.

Both roles play considerably younger than the actor's real age. Applicants must be 18 or over.

The film shoots in Cyprus this October.

The work is paid.

Languages: English

female, playing age roughly 13 to 15, but must be at least 18 years of age, based in Cyprus, speaking one or more of these languages: Greek, Cypriot Greek, Turkish, English.

About the character: A Greek Cypriot village girl, set in 1974. She sits at the emotional heart of the film.
