Character: Ylva, Jailor’s daughter, is a co-lead in this two-person show. She is strong, no-nonsense and with a healthy dose of cynicism. While she is a character in her own right, she helps to tell the story of Bothwell by transforming herself into many different important figures from Bothwell’s life – not least May Stuart, Queen of Scots. Our actor for this role will need to have a strong grasp of English, as well as an ability to change character quickly and adapt her voice accordingly. Applicants should be based in Skåne.
