Casting female actors based in Spain, ideally in the Canary islands, for a role in "Rare Fish", a student short student.
Synopsis: In a world where climate change has left the ocean barren, young fisher woman Bain struggles to uphold her family's traditions for her father’sake. Plagued by nightmares of an irreversible future, she must find a way to make him accept the reality of the changing world, or risk losing both their legacy and hope for survival.
The film and set are English-speaking.
Shooting location: Canary Islands
Shooting Period: 6 Days of shooting + 2 Days of rehearsal / Beginning of March 2025

This no-budget short film dives into the impact of climate change on marine life and explores generational trauma. While we can’t offer payment, we invite aspiring artists to connect, collaborate, and create something meaningful together.
