ROLE: ESTELLE RIGAULT f, 30, attractive Estelle was raised as orphan in France, married a kindly older, wealthy man who supported her and her brother. Had an affair with a man her own age and became pregnant.  Delivered the baby and, in a fit of emotional despair, threw the child from a balcony, killing it.  Recently deceased, Estelle died of pneumonia.  Her deep secret , which comes out during the play, is the murder of her child.  Her personality is upper-class, a bit delicate – and evasive.
