Casting Overview
Casting "Toile Blanche" a non-dialogue short film set in a Parisian apartment.
The short is about an aspiring painter and it is an experimental project with a very strong emphasis on visual storytelling. Although the film is about painting, no painting skills are required, as everything else will be mimicked except for one brushstroke by the Painter.
Dates & Locations: Shoots Sept. 17 or 18 within Paris. Exact location TBD.

Additional: Meals will be provided via delivery of your choice within the budget on the day of the shoot. All cast will receive IMDb credit and footage for their reel. The film will also be submitted to small online film festivals and has an approximate runtime of 5 minutes.
Roles
Lead. Male. 20-29 (any ethnicity)
The role involves non-verbal storytelling, painting solo scenes as well as scenes with both the Friend and the Stranger and a glimpses into the future scenes with the Stranger. No painting skills are required. The performance relies on body language and facial expression.
Rate: €125 flat rate
Total Pay: €125 (est. 2 hours of work)
NB: Both lead actors will be required for a very brief pre-production proposal photoshoot in Paris before the filming (details will be provided upon casting, 12th or 13th of September).
Lead. Female. 20-29 (any ethnicity)
The role involves non-verbal storytelling, painting and glimpses into the future scenes with the Painter and a scene with the Painter (older). No painting skills are required. The performance relies on body language and facial expression.
