Casting Overview

For a HKU short film, titled ’Lotgenoten’. Production to take place in Utrecht (Zeist).

The story is about young people from difficult home situations who find their second home on the street. It shows a more vulnerable side of young people on the street and how everyone deals with frustration in a different way. Our aim is to offer a new perspective on this and go against the stereotype of ’Submissive model immigrant’. All the main characters have an Indian, Indonesian or Japanese background. In three portraits we see their home situation, what is going on and how they deal with it.

In total there are three shooting days between 14 and 16 June. You only need to be available for one day.
