NETHERLANDS: actors (m/f) 27-35, English spkrs, for short film in Amsterdam [NP]
Casting Overview
Casting short film produced by film students at SAE Amsterdam.
The short is called 'It'll Pass' and is a remake inspired by the “Fleabag” series by Phoebe Waller-Bridge. This project explores the option in which the Priest does end up choosing Fleabag and the consequences of that choice. A key difference from the original screenplay is represented by the fact that the Priest is the one who breaks the fourth wall, talking to the camera (God) and relying on it to navigate his life. As the Priest is sitting in a cosy café, years later his final goodbye with Renee (Fleabag), he finds himself face-to-face with the woman he once loved and her new partner and is transported by memories and the echo of a question: "what if?"
The short film is approx. 8 minutes long and is entirely in English.
