Casting Overview

Casting call for a 10 minutes mockumentary which follows the misadventures of a culinary “superstar” with a massive social media following. When an enthusiastic interviewer convinces her sceptical friend to create a documentary about this internet-famous chef, they embark on a journey to uncover the truth behind the social media sensation.

This mockumentary explores the absurdity of internet fame and the lengths some individuals will go to maintain their social media personas. With a mix of awkward interviews, bizarre cooking demonstrations, and some cringe-worthy moments, this short film offers a satirical take on the world of online influencers and highlights the importance of authentic expertise in the culinary world.

Shooting in Amsterdam between 6th of January - 15th of January 2024 (exact date TBC)

Paid role: 200 Euros
