Casting Overview
For a no budget short film produced by students of the The Dutch Filmers Academy.
Logline: ARIE is a comic drama about an old man who threatens to be forgotten. After he is forgotten by the nursing home for the weekly outing, he comes into contact with a group of students. They give him the time of his life. Nothing stands in his way anymore, until his health comes into play.
3 days shooting in Randstad between February 28 – March 7, 2022.
Roles
ROLE: Tim
Tim is Arie's young grandson. Tim is not a very social person, and spends a lot of time gaming.

ROLE: Manuel
Manuel is a 20 year old student who is in the prime of his life. He enjoys every second and just does what he likes. Manuel is a bit of a joker
ROLE: Floris
Floris is a 19 year old student and at the same time a friend of Manuel. He is also in the bloom of his life and tries to enjoy every second of it. He is a bit more serious than Manuel.
