Casting Overview

Casting 2 English speaking actresses for a short film by Film Production student at SAE INSTITUTE. The project is currently called ”A Tale of Transformation”.

The story revolves around / is a moment in their lives. When two old acquaintances meet by chance in a café, old memories open up, forcing them to confront them, meet again and re-establish their relationship. The story revolves around two women: Lila and Aisha. They’ve known each other for some years, but after certain events in the past, they eventually went their separate ways. However, after 7 years, by pure chance, in a café bar, their paths cross again. Soon, a dynamic and power dynamic begins, opening up and recalling their past and memories. It’s through their discussions of past and present relationships, that they can re-examine and re-establish their present, and soon future, relationships.

Being a student project, it’s an unpaid work. However, food will be provided on set. If the film works out, there is a possibility for it to be submitted to film festivals. 

Shooting in Amsterdam in mid-may, (end of may) or beginning of June.
