For a feature film titled ’A Tale Of Two Humans’ based on the original short story ’The Rootcutter’ and produced by Elibon Film Productions/Northern Films LLC.
This universal folktale follows the story of a peasant farmer and his wife longing to have a child in a universe that seems to be conspiring against them. Set once upon a time on a remote Irish island buffeted by relentless Atlantic storms, the childless peasant couple welcomes a forsaken infant into their lives only to destine them to tragedy and myth.
This independent low-budget 35mm feature film production will be screened at International film festivals.
Production dates: Autumn, 2023
Production location: Connemara, Ireland
Contract type: Non-union – Low Pay.
For day players the minimum daily fee would be €120 per day or the prevailing minimum day rate at production. Major supporting and lead roles will be negotiated package deals.
