Casting Overview

Casting “The Lightkeeper” a short film produced by students at BCFE. The film is based on a book by Ukrainian writer Varya Fadieieva.

Logline: When a friend needs help in another timeframe or spacetime, the young lighthouse keeper must help find the light even in the darkest times.

Concept: The light of a lighthouse represents life that might fade without a friend’s support. Lighthouses help one another, representing human values against darkness.

The main goal of the film is to remind the world about the war in Ukraine. We have plans to send this film to as many film festivals as possible, so it will be a great opportunity for actors.
