Casting Overview

Film Synopsis: A young man in Berlin receives news that his favourite aunt is dying. When he visits her in a local hospital, she shares with him that she does not want to die there or at home but somewhere beautiful. He soon experiences that being with a loved one who is dying is sorrowful but also beautiful. During this intense experience with her end of life, he develops Chromesthesia and his thoughts involuntarily trigger colour changes in his sight.

Project Overview: Death and dying are perpetually sensationalized or trivialized in film and media worldwide. This is what we will disrupt in this new film project that will embrace naturalism, otherworldliness, visual poetics and philosophy.

Although this project has a modest budget, it has high quality artistic aspirations! A stipend of 300 euros will be available for this lead for 3 or 4 days of film shooting in Berlin.

We are planning all film shoots for June for 3 or 4 days on weekdays or on weekends. All selected performers will receive appropriate film credits. Food and drink will be provided on set during meetings and all film shoots. Transportation to film locations will be available.

A project release date of late 2023 is anticipated.
