Casting a major feature film, shooting in Spring 2024 (30-35 days). Production in Romania.

Synopsis: In a neon-noir world, the film follows the tumultuous journey of Leon and his elusive father, Ike, the enigmatic King Wray, a musician who concealed his face behind a mask. A life-altering drug-induced accident left Ike wheelchair-bound and Leon abandoned. Meg, the owner of King Wray's record label, orchestrates a reunion twenty years later. Ike proposes a daring plan: Leon impersonates him onstage while he sings behind the scenes, reviving King Wray's legend. Leon, craving success and his father's validation, accepts. But their nationwide tour unravels as Ike's selfishness and jealousy intensify. Meg offers Leon a solo career, forcing a heart-wrenching choice between family and fame, culminating in a revelation that exposes the truth behind the King Wray façade.

Growing up in a household where love was often transactional, she wears the mask of altruism, but her true face is that of a coldblooded egoist who will sacrifice everything and everyone to exploit the ‘King Wray’ venture for her own survival and profit.

IKE is the tragic antagonist of our story. Once the genre defining musician - 'King Wray', we meet him a broken man, hiding behind a mask of denial and unable to accept reality as a has-been - wheelchair bound as a result of his own recklessness and hedonistic behaviour. He is an impulsive control freak, and a drug addict - but still has the charisma and the wit of a once famous musician and performer.

LEON - our protagonist - is an insecure, twenty-one-year-old with an identity crisis, abandoned by his father - Ike - at a young age. As an aspiring musician, he works nights in a tiny non-stop kiosk, where in secret he streams a cover show – ‘Duke Box’, taking requests from his base of online followers and performing covers of famous songs. He is complacent with the gratification he gets online, but offline his life is lonely and he has no real prospects.

Must be slim and athletic, fit to perform high octane rock'n'roll gigs.
