Storyline: A young Black man who grew up as an enslaved person on a Barbados plantation before traveling the world on a steampunk adventure with the plantation owner’s brother, GEORGE WASHINGTON ”WASH” BLACK is now 19 years old and living in Nova Scotia as a free man; Wash works the docks, paints, hones his flying invention and falls in love–until his past catches up with him, threatening his new life and all of his dreams that have kept him going…

He teaches Wash a few words in sign language and joins the team on a hunting mission, but suffers a grave injury no thanks to Titch's error. Peter will intersect with Washington Black later in his life and is given a second chance to help him. *MUST BE FLUENT IN BRITISH SIGN LANGUAGE.
