Casting Overview

Emergency is the biopic of the late Indian PM Indira Gandhi (played by the leading Bollywood actor, Kangana Ranaut).

The movie is based on true events that unfolded following the declaration of the Emergency by then PM Indira Gandhi. The movie focuses on the situation under which she made the decision to announce the emergency and the result that followed, revealing numerous internal political dispute.

Shooting mid-December 2022 to January 2023 in Mumbai, India.

All travel/accommodation costs will be covered by the production. Fee is negotiable.

Actors must be free to travel to India with at least 6 months on their passport.
